Other practical details include a separate compartment for avalanche shovel and probe and a padded compartment for ski or sunglasses. Skis can be quickly and easily attached diagonally to the backpack, and there is also room for a snowboard or snowshoes in the Back Bowl 22. There are also holders for ice picks or poles and small practical features such as a zipped pocket on the hip belt and a hydration system holder.
