The universal Mammut Ophir 4 Slide is suitable for sports and indoor climbing as well as for your first alpine tours and climbing ascents.

Thanks to the four Slide Bloc buckles, the harness can be adapted to different body sizes or conditions within seconds. The two-part webbing technology ensures supreme comfort as well as maximum breathability and freedom of movement.

+ Smart 2.0 Belay Device

The Mammut Smart 2.0 is an intuitive belay device with reliable blocking of the climbing rope. The first generation of the Smart belay device was successfully launched in 2009.

Built on the experience the Smart 2.0 offers braking effectiveness as well as optimized geometry and intuitive handling. The brake insert blocks the rope in the event of a fall.

The belaying action of the Smart 2.0 is the same as the previous model and is therefore tailored to the belayer's reflex movements.

The Mammut Smart 2.0 HMS carabiner with safety mechanism against accidental cross loads. The further development of the belay carabiner convinces with a higher breaking load and less weight.

What remains is double safety with easy handling. The screwgate can only be operated if the Safety Gate has also been opened. Accidental opening is just as impossible as unintentional twisting of the carabiner in the belay loop of the climbing harness.

This prevents dangerous loads in the transverse direction. For the Smart 2.0 belay device, Mammut recommends the use of the Smart HMS 2.0 carabiner.
