Through the latest technologies, such as the diagonal heel, it simultaneously ensures constant release values and protects ligaments and joints in turning crashes.
The K12 TRI GW Full-Black is fully GripWalk compatible and can be used with alpine and GripWalk ski boots alike, requiring no additional adjustments to the sole.
Technology:
Hollowtech
The patented, key technology is unique within the ski industry. By removing unnecessary layers at the front of the ski, Kästle make the shovel lighter. This has several advantages: oscillation recovery is up to 30 %, the ski is damper, edge-grip is more powerful, turn initiations are more precise and overall weight is reduced.
The new, revolutionized Hollowtech 3.0 has a two-tier construction: a new outer ring cuts out even more material and therefore even more weight. For select models, this area is also reinforced with carbon or highlighted with a luminous material, creating a glow-in-the-dark effect. The size of the Hollowtech is always precisely matched to the shovel of each particular model – for performance that’s truly unbeatable.
Sandwich-Sidewall
Kästle have adopted the Sandwich-Sidewall construction from alpine racing. This technology is a distinguishing feature of all Kästle models. This method of construction gives every Kästle ski optimum flex and torsional rigidity, creates sensitive and direct transfer of power and ensures total control, even at high speeds.
Fast Grip Shovel
The Fast Grip Shovel is a short shovel in which the contact point and the widest part of the shovel are located far forward. This ensures a faster response at the beginning of the turn.
Fast Grip Tail
The Fast Grip Tail is designed with a contact point almost at the widest part of the tail, near the end of the ski. This results in a more aggressive and precise performance at the end of the turn.
