Derived from the climbing shoe, the Dragontail Mnt GTX combines comfort and functionality for ascents in its low-cut design. The suede combined with the Gore-Tex Extended Comfort insulation gives the shoe a pleasant wearing climate even in cooler temperatures. An extended toe guard and a heel cap made of reinforced rubber layers provide protection for the upper on the rock face.  

Perfect fit, stable, reliable: The approach shoe's Heel-Lock technology secures the foot in the shoe with a long lacing and prevents twisting. A Vibram sole with pronounced arch support and deep lugs works on the ground and ensures sure-footedness as well as grip in technical terrain. On long tours on demanding footpaths, the PU insert inhibits signs of fatigue through cushioning and flexibility.
