A combination of trail running and approach shoe, the Dachstein Super Ferrata GTX hiking & trekking shoe effortlessly masters difficult climbing passages, but thanks to the exclusive Vibram Pinter sole, it also excels on normal hiking trails. 
The light and durable PU midsole reinforces the sole and at the same time cushions for a stable and energy-saving ascent. The integrated climbing and braking zones, together with the bi-directional lug design, provide optimum support, grip and stability on rocky terrain. 
For the upper, Dachstein combines robust and durable Perwang suede with Cordura mesh fabric. A neoprene cuff on the shaft adapts to the sensitive Achilles tendon for maximum comfort. The GORE-TEX membrane makes the shoe waterproof and breathable.
As with a climbing shoe, the lacing extends all the way to the toe, allowing the Dachstein Super Ferrata GTX hiking & trekking Shoe to adapt very well to the foot. A TPU plastic toe cap protects the shoe from damage on steep rocky climbs.
