The water of the Stubai Alps has been the driving force behind the region's centuries-old tradition of forging hammers - and even today, the traditional company draws strength and inspiration from the unique natural surroundings. Responsible production of climbing equipment and mountaineering accessories is very important to Stubai. The Stubai KSHB GmbH manufacturing facility based in Fulpmes has been ISO 9001 certified for a number of years. In June 2020, it was also certified to the ISO 14001 environmental management system.

The fact that a large proportion of the products are manufactured on site or in collaboration with regional partners in Austria ensures fair working conditions, short transport and delivery routes and proper waste disposal. When sourcing additional products, Stubai uses certified goods. For example, the shirts are made of GOTS certified cotton and produced by manufacturers audited by the Fair Wear Foundation. The yoga mats sold by the company have a high recycled content and are made in Germany.
