Research, adventure and travel
Each piece of Montura’s apparel is created on site, in the mountains and in the climbing wall, and is woven with the experience and movements of climbers, athletes and safety experts. A seam, a pocket, the search for material, every detail is an essential and harmonious part of the whole: Functional, practical and ergonomic. In line with the company's philosophy of 'Searching a new way', Montura has embarked on a journey with industry professionals and material suppliers to develop new, environmentally friendly products and technologies. The goal is to "continuously reduce environmental impact throughout the entire life cycle of the product while providing the best performance and a long life service life". All of the brand’s partners are required to comply with the strictest environmental standards in accordance with certification systems such as bluesign, Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and ecotoxicological specifications for dealing with substances that have been banned, toxic substances and substances that are harmful to humans and the environment.
MONTURA – SEARCHING A NEW WAY
The design is unique and of the highest quality, and the entire production process taking place in Europe. And because it is not always just about clothing.The brand also supports several projects with athletes in all kinds of sports, as well as social projects!
Because the athletes are the ones relying on the product when they are out in the wilderness, Montura supports a whole bunch of athletes from all kinds of sports. Alpinists, ski-mountaineers, climbers, runners, snowboarders, cross-country skiiers, sailers and even those doing archery and potholing. Because for these people, being in the mountains is the way of life. What Montura also supports, are cultural events and social campaigns. They are one of the main contributors to the Rarahil Memorial school in Nepal, where kids can live and go to school!
