Why is Andalui a WIR DENKEN UM brand?

Behind Andalui, which colloquially stands for "at the Loisach", are two creative minds who draw inspiration from their homeland - and make accessories and belts from leather. As a WIR DENKEN UM brand, Andalui is characterised above all by the following points:

- Manufacture in the company's own factory in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

- The company pursues environmentally friendly, resource-saving production

- The company uses local leather  

Handmade unique pieces from Garmisch-Partenkirchen

The idea germinated while backpacking in Nepal. Only the bare essentials are taken along - simple, compact and practical for everyday use. The duo Verena and Florian used their time under the roof of the world to reflect on the necessities in life and the conscious renunciation of abundance. Back home in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the two founded Andalui and designed their first leather accessories. The sustainable aspect: the cases, belts and home accessories are made in their own factory in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and are free of (micro)plastics, chrome and adhesives. Only vegetable-tanned cowhide from southern Germany is used. For the packaging, discarded cardboard boxes are reused, while all flyers are made of recycled paper and printed in Germany. Regional orders received directly at the manufactory are easily delivered by the duo on a Vespa scooter.
