La Sportiva Vega W is an advanced four-buckle ski touring boot for female ski alpers and freeriders looking for the perfect combination between the performance, control, strength and precision of a downhill boot and the characteristics of mobility, handling and lightness of an evolved ski touring boot.

The shell is made of light and strong Grilamid Carbon Renforced. The patented Vertebra Technology locking system with carbon is part of the boot and supports power transmission on the descent thanks to the excellent "125-Flex" flexibility properties.

The mobility of the shell of 60° in total in combination with the improved rolling behaviour and the patented movement system "EZ Flex" of the inner shoe improve the walking characteristics of the product.

The La Sportiva Vega W shoe is also suitable for technical passages on rock and slippery ground thanks to the dual compound/dual compression Vibram outsole. Compatibility with both race-TECH pin bindings and AT bindings ensures optimal versatility.

• G-Shell: super-compact shell: only 303 mm long for size 27.5. Made of lightweight Grilamid to reduce the thickness and weight of the boot while maintaining structural solidity. The upper has an extreme mobility of 60° with the buckles closed (30° forward + 30° backward). The innovative Rear Diffuser guarantees more stability and security of the ankle joint
when the shaft is closed and tilted forward

• Cuff: the Dual-Axis Cuff shaft consists of two synergetic elements:
a dual-density Pebax cuff and two Climbing System Control buckles, which provide control and lateral stability and give the ankle more room to move during the ascent;

• the patented Vertebra Technology blocking system reinforced by carbon: as a structural part of the boot, it supports power transmission during the descent thanks to its extraordinary "120-Flex" flexibility. The additional asymmetric spoiler at the rear allows improved adjustment of the ski boot tuning and foot position in the bootleg. 

• Walking Profile: the biaxial shaft with its 60° of mobility and the shell construction, provide one with AT. The 17 mm ramp angle offers a comfortable fit even after many hours of use. 

• Shell Line: hardening line defined by structural analysis on 3D models to counteract shell deformation.

• EZ Flex Tongue: Tongue in Pebax Rnew bio-based with motion insert: this concept was derived from La Sportiva mountaineering boots and allows a lot of freedom of movement in steep inclines. Under the tongue is a small gaiter that protects against snow. The position of the shoe tongue can be adjusted to 3 positions, with a range of 4 mm. This allows the fit to be personalised and can greatly contribute to the fit and overall comfort when walking.

• 4BT Tech Last: the neutral shape with a width of 102.5 mm keeps the foot in a comfortable position to tackle very technical surfaces. The shape is similar to the Spitfire, Sideral and Starlet, but is slightly roomier for more comfort in the front and in correspondence.

• WarmSole Insert: removable insulating insole in polyurethane: prevents direct contact between foot and upper, increases the thermal properties of the shoe and makes it the warmest four-strap shoe on the market

• EZ-TECH Buckles (patented): Aluminium buckles with ratchet closure for fine adjustment, for faster opening and closing

• Power Strap: Velcro strap that allows you to close the shaft even better around the leg to take every descent in your stride

• Vertebra Technology: patented Grilamid swivel with carbon inserts. It is a structural part of the shaft and guarantees maximum safety and precision in "downhill mode" whereby the leg power is optimally transferred to the shaft and the ski for decisive and powerful descents.

• Walk/Ski Mechanism: instant closure system to make the transition from ski to walk with a single movement: patented

• Adjustment system on the swivel: the inclination of the shaft can be adjusted to 3 positions: 10°, 14°, 18°.

• Vibram Outsole: Vibram sole with dual rubber compound and soft 85 Shore inserts on the toe and heel to facilitate climbing on technical passages. Centering system with distance gauge for easy and quick snap-in of the binding.

• Compatibility with bindings: Race TECH bindings, AT bindings and exclusive compatibility, for which you only need to unscrew two small details with the supplied key.

• V-LINER: the liner pre-moulded on the shaft offers immediate comfort. The thermo-mouldability offers an additional adjustment option if necessary.
