Why is Endura a WIR DENKEN UM brand?
As part of the Pentland group of companies, Endura is committed to corporate responsibility and ethical practices. As a WIR DENKEN UM brand, Endura is characterized primarily by the following points:
- Endura and the Pentland Group are committed to responsibility throughout the supply chain
- Endura promotes fair working conditions
- With the "1 Million Trees" initiative, Endura aims to plant 1 million trees a year to reduce carbon in the atmosphere
Sustainable by Nature
The Scots don't talk about it much - they just do it: Endura focuses on durable products that can withstand the stresses and strains of biking. Production is largely in the UK, with fair working conditions promoted as a matter of course. Since 2018, all Endura garments are PFC-free, biodegradable impregnations are used. Already since 2015, 98 % of sales packaging can be recycled and so outer packaging and labels are free of laminate and gloss varnishes. But that's not all: "We are involved in many projects regarding product life, reduction of plastics and recycling, just to name a few. We have made it our mission to rise to this challenge. Sustainability is a value that Endura has always stood for and that now drives the way we design our products." In 2020, Endura launched the "1 Million Trees" initiative, committing to plant at least 10 million over the next ten years to fully offset the company's carbon footprint.
