As time evolves, so does the style of skiing. In response, Salomon took the beloved Salomon QST LUX 92, lengthened the rocker and revamped its shape to create a more modern, playful version of your favorite charger.

What Salomon didn’t change? The edge grip, performance, and stability you have come to rely on when charging groomers or skipping through the glades.

Versatility and Agility
A new profile with 92 mm waist and a lightweight body make for a versatile ski that shines on groomed slopes and off-piste.

Edge grip
Double sidewalls underfoot combined with a C/FX carbon backbone give skiers strong edge hold for groomed early morning runs and shady, icy afternoons.

Power and stability
A crisp tail and classic bias profile highlight the Lux's new shape and add power at the turn end - for balanced carves and fast turns through forests.

Tail Rocker-Profile: 12 %
Tip Rocker-Profile: 18 %

Technology

Full Poplar Woodcore
A full Woodcore construction maximizes liveliness, stability and ski-to-snow contact while filtering vibrations.

C/FX
C/FX is a fiber layer consisting of Carbon and Flax woven together. It combines the strength, stability, minimal weight of carbon with the increased level of dampening of the flax.

Cork Damplifier
Cork is three times more absorbing than Koroyd. Using it in the tip of the ski enables a high level of vibration absorption and dampening with even less weight.

All Terrain Rocker
Rocker tip, early rise tail and camber underfoot.

Full Sandwich Sidewalls
Full Sandwich Sidewalls guarantees stability and precision, it enhances performance by providing good edge grip and smooth ski-to-snow contact.

Ti Binding Reinforcement
A titanal insert edge-to-edge underfoot, running throughout the ski, for maximal power and increased hard snow edging.

Tail Protector
Increased ski longevity: keeping skis visually attractive even after intense use.

+ Fritschi Vipec Evo 12 bindings

One binding, three colours. The Fritschi Vipec EVO bindings can easily be colour-coordinated with your outfit. And the extended DIN setting range of 4-12 covers the safety needs of the vast majority of ski tourers and freeriders.

The Fritschi Evo 12 is a light-weight system offering the greatest possible safety in addition to an easy, ergonomic climbing technique and precise and agile control to ski downhill.

All parts are manufactured in Switzerland and assembled into high-quality products in Reichenbach. After the assembly, every binding undergoes a meticulous quality control process, including a functional test. In other words, the Vipec Evo is now even more stable and durable.

Features:
• Solid stop in front to step in - Easy step-in
The tip of the boot is optimally positioned by means of a solid stop in front and a positioning guide. Responding to slight pressure, the system closes with the pin levers engaging precisely in the inserts.
The sequence of movements is comparable with that of an alpine binding.

• Lateral release with DIN-setting at the toe - In front, same as in alpine bindings
The pin-binding with lateral release and DIN set-ting at the toe, where the lateral forces are acting in the event of a fall.

• Elasticity of 13 mm - Releasing only if necessary
The highest elasticity of 13 mm prevents an un-wanted release and cushions any lateral impact so that the ski always maintains a firm grip.

• Release Lever - Immediate release of the boot with front release
After the release of the heel, the boot tips for-ward. Due to the pressure of the front of the boot on the Release Lever, the boot is also immedi-ately released by the toe unit.

• Emergency release when climbing - Solid support while climbing and safety in an emergency
The boot is fixed and held in the middle, but the binding will release in response to high active forces. Clamping systems must be blocked while climb-ing to ensure stability.

• Complete easy handling package - Safety in any terrain and in all conditions
Switching from downhill to uphill mode and vice versa is very simple without having to step out of the binding. The three ergonomically walk mode levels can also be changed in no time with a pole.
No other pin binding offers this level of comfort in all functions.

• Solid, non-turning heel - Precise and safe control of skis
The heel unit always remains laterally stable. Unlike other pin bindings, the power flow is not in-terrupted by a rotating movement when the skis turn.

• Incl. color clips
