With our Ski Local for Free initiative, together with the ski brands Elan and Fischer, we help create unforgettable snow experiences for children around Penzberg, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and Wielenbach. At selected ski lifts in the region, we provide free ski tickets for children up to the age of 15. The ski tickets are distributed directly at the participating ski lifts. With this campaign, we also want to highlight the importance of small village ski lifts, as they offer children and beginners an affordable and easy introduction to skiing, laying the foundation for regional skiing culture and the future of the sport.
On the following days we will once again be travelling to ski resorts and handing out free ski tickets to children up to the age of 15:

> Streidllift & Jaudenhang, Lenggries
> Jachenau Ski Lift, Jachenau (only possible if there is sufficient natural snow)
> Am Ried, Farchant
> Kranzberg, Mittenwald
> Steckenberg, Unterammergau

We grew up with them. We're talking about the small ski areas in our home communities. And even today, you can still enjoy great skiing fun with a small footprint in the mostly family-run and passionately run ski resorts in the Bavarian Oberland. If you want to be particularly environmentally friendly when travelling, use public transport - for example the Skibus of Alpenwelt Karwendel (Barmsee/Krün & Familienparadies Kranzberg).
