Produktdetails: Trab Gara Powercup 20/21

Der Gara Aero Power Cup ist ein Trainings-/Rennski und eine interessante Alternative zu den Aero Race Modellen. Der Hauptunterschied liegt bei der Kernkonstruktion.

Anstatt des Aramid-Kerns wurde ein leichter, speziell designter Holzkern verwendet. Dank seiner aktiv-progressiven Flexeigenschaften wird nur ein geringer Kraftaufwand benötigt um ihn kontrolliert fahren zu können. Bei dem in Bormio produzierten Gara Powercup Ski von Trab wird die aus 14 Schichten bestehende, innovative Liwood Technologie verwendet.

NO SHOCK, ACTIVE VIBRATION CONTROL A band of a special elastomer is placed lengthways between the edges and the internal structure of the ski. At the tip and the tail, the elastomer covers the entire surface of the ski. Its addition creates a cushioning effect that makes the ski more stable and more linear in response to external factors.

Hi-Connect
HICONNECT STRONG HEDGE TO HEDGE CONNECTION In order to maintain the flatness of the ski over time we have designed a bridge that connects the two edges internally, in such a way that it is almost impossible to misalign. This special construction means that the edges stay where they should be, even after multiple impacts with hard surfaces like rocks.

Durability
Durability means long lasting quality, maintaining over time the characteristics of the ski. We like to ensure that even after hundreds of thousands of metres of elevation gain our skis remain perfectly flat, with flexibility and torsional rigidity remaining constant. This is possible thanks to the synergy of certain special technical solutions as well as the quality of the materials used.

Hibox Torsion Control
Thin micro-mesh carbon cage (3k) which wraps around the ski providing a definitely higher torsional stiffness (up to 46%). This type of processing aims at giving benefits only to the antitorsional structure without compromising the bending values of the skis

Duo Tech
DUO TECH DIFFERENT FLEXIBILITY 1. with a flat ski the tail maintains its rigidity and the ski guarantees a perfect stability and support. 2. on turning the tail flexibility is greater, improving the steering and making skiing easier. 3. with a flat ski the hollow of the ski tail increases stability and steering precision.


liwood air flex
A revolutionary profile which improves ease of turning and grip when the skis is flat. A unique profile possible only thanks to the multi-layer construction which guarantees strenght even when the core of the ski becomes progressively thinner towards the ends. This means that the tip and the tail of the skis are more flexible only at the very end, making the ski easier to control while in no way compromising either the lateral grip of the edge which has an increased continuity of contact with the ground, or torsional rigidity. The softer tips aid float and centrality while skiing, the excellent torsional rigidity iad perfect control of the skis.

Thanks to their 14-layer construction and with the help of a particular technology, the tip of our skis allows fluid, progressive turns, never leaving the surface of the snow, while at the same time avoiding influencing the action of the skier. This is only possible thanks to a careful reduction of the tip and the tail of the core of the ski, obtaining a flex variation that increases the closer you get to the centre. This is done without compromising the torsional rigidity which remains at the highest level thanks to the combination of technologies that make the 14 -layer construction possible.
