Snow Safety Days: 13. & 14.12.2024
Do you enjoy freeriding or ski touring but lack the experience and knowledge to safely assess current conditions? Or do you want to prepare for the new winter by learning the latest in avalanche transceiver searching, rescue techniques, snow/avalanche awareness and alpine risk assessment? Then sign up for our Snow Safety Days. Visit us at our store in Penzberg on 13.12.24 and get advice from our manufacturer experts in the field of snow safety. The brands Ortovox, Mammut, Black Diamond, Pieps and Arva will be there for you and present the latest knowledge on the latest products. After closing time, we will offer you three exciting presentations on avalanche safety to refresh your theoretical knowledge. Of course, we don't want to miss out on the practical side, which is why we are organising avalanche transceiver workshops on the Zugspitze on 14.12.2014. All aspects of 'safety on the mountain' will be covered, trained, practised and taught in an entertaining way. In short - the ideal event to prepare for a safe winter.

Everything about avalanche safety. Visit us at our store in Penzberg. The brands Ortovox, Black Diamond, Pieps, Mammut, Scott and Arva will be there to give you comprehensive advice on the latest avalanche transceivers. Cool avalanche transceiver competitions also await you and if you buy an avalanche product, you get a gearbag for free! Free of charge.

09:00 Start of event with welcome and briefing at the Sonn-Alpin
09.00 - 15:30 Daily programme:
> Avalanche and safety training in various workshops
> Risk management and decision-making strategies in alpine terrain
> Searching for avalanche transceivers in an emergency scenario
> Slope assessment and orientation in the terrain
> Possible guided freeride descents or short ski tour
End of the event at 16:00
Followed by a get-together with free drinks at the Zugspitz Resort

Requirements
- Beginners: You have no freeride or touring experience and can ski safely on piste.
- Advanced: You already have freeride or ski touring experience and can ski safely in any terrain (on and off piste).
