The all-mountain freerider in state-of-the-art construction with an extremely wide range of use for experienced skiers who celebrate powerful turns in all terrain and on all pistes. Just like the new Mantra and Kenja models, the Völkl Kendo 88 also comes with a revised geometry and a centre radius that has been shortened by one metre in the 3D Radius Sidecut.

It's important to know that the three different radii combined in one ski generally make for enormously versatile turning characteristics. The new 16m radius in the middle increases the radius variability even more. In particular, lovers of tight, fully edged, cut turns get their money's worth here.

On the one hand, this allows for a particularly sporty, intuitive skiing style on groomed pistes, but also ensures the necessary manoeuvrability for better passage in demanding terrain. Thanks to the shortened centre radius, less effort is required.

New for this season, the Völkl Kendo 88 now also features Tailored Carbon Tips and a Tailored Titanal Frame, making it clear that skiing fun is the Kendo's middle name.

The new Völkl Kendo 88 with Tip & Tail Rocker also features the tried-and-tested Multilayer Woodcore, surrounded by a full-length sidewall and P-Tex 2100 base.

Multilayer wood core
The combination of beech and poplar allows for an extremely resilient wood core, consisting of hardwood in the binding area and somewhat lighter wood in the remaining area.  

Tailored Carbon Tips
In this innovative manufacturing process the new Tailored Carbon Tips are produced by embroidering the individual carbon fibers onto a carrier material. The stiffness, torsion and thus the skiing characteristics can be specifically adjusted via the fiber thickness and millimeter-precise alignment. In this way, the fibers guide the dynamics to the areas of the ski where they are needed. The visibly integrated Tailored Carbon Tips are light, allow an agile shovel reaction with less effort and quickly build up energy. The Tailored Carbon Tips thus reach a new level of precision, direct tip response and active skiing pleasure.
