Product details: Völkl Blaze 94 23/24 Skis Women
Völkl Blaze 94 - Specifically designed for female freeriders looking for an agile, responsive ski with a wide range of use and low weight. Also, suitable for a spontaneous ascent followed by a technically challenging backcountry descent.
The Blaze 94 W is what we like to call a very sporty freerider or all-rounder. It delivers full performance in a wide variety of terrain and can be turned almost on the spot. A 0.3 mm titanal layer underneath the binding provides impressive direct power transmission and transfers the rider's movements directly into the turn. At the same time, the low titanal content and light weight make the Blaze 94 W incredibly responsive and easy to move.
Although designed for tight turn radii, the 3D Radius Sidecut and Hybrid Multilayer Woodcore allow for all radii. Weighing just 1427g (at 165 cm) and featuring Suspension Tip and Tail (a rubber-like shock absorber that absorbs everything it touches), it's also a fantastic touring ski. Whether you're in the resort, off-piste or backcountry, the Völkl Blaze 94 W is incredibly versatile in all conditions.
Features:
Tip & Tail Rocker
Character: Rocked only in the shovel and tail area, preload in the binding area
3D Radius Sidecut
Three radii in one ski for maximum turning ability and speed in all-mountain use: wide radius in the shovel and tail.
Full Sidewall
The sidewall along the entire length of the ski ensures direct and best possible power transmission. The wider radius in tip and tail is ideal for long turns and high speed. Easy control and maneuverability, less blending, no restriction on turn radius and easy exit from the turn, tight inside radius.
Tight center radius favors tight turns and moderate speed. Extremely easy turn initiation, super nippy, effortless and smooth in tight turns.
Titanal Binding Platform
A 0.3 mm thin titanal sheet provides the necessary strength in the binding area. The binding screws thus show the proven reliability of a metal ski, even in the toughest use.
Suspension Tips & Tails
Inserts of elastic, rubber-like Fabrics on the edges of the tip and tail. In wind-blown or tracked snow, they act like a bumper. Their dampening elasticity provides better resistance to disturbance and supportive lift.
Hybrid Mulitlayer Woodcore
Extra-light rod wood core for touring skis. Poplar wood around the steel edges provides stability, while paulownia wood in the center of the ski offers pliability. Beech wood in the binding area reinforces screw retention. A CNC-milled Isocore section in the center adds liveliness and dynamics. Only the lightest batch of wood is used for these cores.
Fabrics & technical specifications:
