Product details: Uvex Downhill 2000 CV Ski-/Snowboard Goggles Black Mat Mirror
The uvex downhill 2000 CV is the flagship of uvex’s new contrast-enhancing colorvision® series. The 2019 ISPO Award Winner ski goggle has a 15% greater field of vision and 400% improved supravision® anti-fog coating. A mirrored, de-centred, spherical Single Lens with 1+ optical quality provides maximum vision comfort without any distortion.
It’s a whiteout. The contours of the piste become less and less perceptible. Bumps, ice sheets or dips are undetectable and it’s like skiing blindfolded. If you’ve ever experienced visibility like it, you’ll remember the feeling of making your way down the mountain as if in a trance. But that’s why the designers at uvex decided to bring their popular colorvision® technology from cycling across into the skiing sector, and equipped the uvex downhill 2000 CV with contrast-enhancing uvex colorvision® technology.
Boost your eyes: uvex colorvision®
The uvex colorvision® lens features an integrated colour filter that turns soft, diffuse light into clear, high-contrast light and enhances colours, making outlines more visible on and off the piste. It means undulations, changes in terrain or obstacles are much easier make out and skiers can therefore react quicker to them.
The uvex engineers put their all into the colorvision® upgrade of this classic ski goggle: The uvex downhill 2000 CV has a de-centred, spherical Single Lens which results in a 15% greater field of vision. The lens is also mirrored and has a supravision® anti-fog coating that’s 400% more efficient at preventing the lens from steaming up.
Combined with uvex colorvision® technology, it produces the clearest possible vision, in any kind of weather. The uvex downhill 2000 CV goggle is available in a lens tint of S1 (43-80% transparency) and S2 (19-42% transparency). And for more narrow faces there’s the uvex downhill 2000 CV S.
