Product details: Therm-A-Rest Polar Ranger -30°C (Long) Down Sleeping Bag Flame
Polar expeditions and high-altitude adventures demand uncompromised warmth. The Thermarest Polar Ranger -30°C was designed with polar explorer Eric Larsen to ensure that every component of the bag was maximized for warmth even in Arctic settings.
The shell and lining are made of a type of polyamide that feels very soft. It is now very light and 100% recycled.
The scarf bag has a snorkel hoodwith a short and stiff snorkel that makes breathing easier and draws away exhaled moisture, while magnetic closures keep out draughts.
The fill is 800-cuin Nikwax Hydrophobic Down, which is Responsible Down Standard certified to absorb 90 % less moisture and dry three times faster than untreated down, without PFC.
The wide fit and even distribution of the down are tested in a cold chamber to ensure optimal thermal efficiency and maximum comfort.
The lighter SynergyLink Connectors construction provides a secure connection between the sleeping bag and sleeping pad to increase the thermal efficiency of the sleeping system.
The Thermarest Polar Ranger has side arm slits for individual temperature control and overlapping draft tubes to prevent cold spots.
It also has an internal pocket that can be reached without exposing yourself to the cold, a foot warmer pocket, loops for a blanket, a collapsible draft collar and a non snagging YKK zip.
