The newly engineerd Tecnica Mach1 MV 130 TD raises the benchmark for performance, fit and customization in a ski boot.
Tecnica’s engineers consulted with a round-table of bootfitters who hold a combined 100-plus years of experience and then brought those ideas and solutions to the boot-makers in Italy. The result is an improved medium volume fit that is specially engineered to ski anywhere and everywhere, regardless of conditions.
New for this year’s 100mm lasted Mach 1, is the launch of T-Drive Technology. T-Drive is a cuff-to-shell interface that fundamentally changes how a ski boot’s performance is defined. The T-Drive connects the upper cuff and lower shell in a ground breaking approach which is entirely focused on prioritizing enghance, efficient and consistent flex.
The boot feels surprisingly comfortable out-of-the-box, thanks to the newly redesigned anatomically shaped liner and shell. If needed, you can add personal customization with Tecnica’s C.A.S. system to solve any additional fit problems.
Demanding skiers will appreciate the Asymmetrical Power Transmission shell, which significantly improves energy transfer. Mach1 has always stood for performance with great fit, and this all new MV version is “what’s next” for Tecnica.

The C.A.S. Shell has an anatomical shape that matches the shape of the foot. This allows for a better out-of-the box initial fit. The dimples on the shell offer less surface tension and facilitate heating, making customizing the shell easier. The shell retains the new shape better and longer.

Asymmetric Power Transmission
The revolutionary asymmetrical concept is based on a different thickness of the shell and liner structures. The inside of the shell is slightly thicker and stiffer and the outside of the shell is thinner and more flexible.
The T-Drive dynamic carbon connector creates a longer lever arm compared to traditional ski boots. This allows:
- Quicker edge to edge transitions.
- Increased lateral power and stability.
- Edge drive precision.
The T-Drive Technology creates a stronger and more effective connection between the cuff and the shell, that supports the boot flex and avoids plastic deformation. This means reduced energy dissipation and a more efficient power transmission.
Comfort comes from many places in the new Mach1 MV. The T-Drive technology provides a progressive flex regardless of temperatures, keeping the shape unchanged and a more consistent fit. The T-Drive support also allows the use of softer plastics, without compromising performances but making the boots easier to get on and off.
Utilizes softer plastic over the instep area that allows the shell to open easier as you are entering or exiting the boot.
Celliant liner is powered by 13 thermoreactive minerals that convert body heat into infrared energy. Infrared penetrates deep into the tissue to increase circulation, oxygen and blood flow. This results in improved warmth, performance, thermal regulation and faster recovery. Lambswool offers additional insulation.
