The "Zen Construction" gives you the lightest boards in the Starboard range. Zen boards are made with a single layer linear dropstitch construction and welded rails, making them stiffer and more stable. This also ensures that the board retains its shape over time.

The edges are welded in one layer with a new technology. This makes them much more durable, environmentally friendly and lighter than commercially available glued rails. Laminated rails are special because it is technically very difficult to weld the round shape of the bow and stern edges.

The Zen Series also features galvanized 2000D rail bands for even greater strength and performance.
