Sustainability is a top priority for you? Strop right there, ’cause the Spektrum Östra Bio Raw ski and snowboard goggles are super green! And it’s not their colour we are talking about. ;-)

Spektrum’s ever-ongoing quest to make their products even more sustainable was the spark that ignited the Östra Bio Raw concept. Applying plant-based materials in their raw form without any dye gives an undeniably honest and fundamentally natural appearance and reduces the eco footprint. The contrast with the striking and hi-performing BIOptic Polarized Gold lens (Cat. 3), which makes for protection from high reflections, underlines the natural look.

The BIOptic lens is made of a 3-layer construction in 75 % biodegradable cellulose. The strap is mainly woven in hemp. Spektrum’s corn-based frame material impresses with its softness and comfort at very low temperatures. The bio-plastic detailing found in pivoting outriggers, lens holder and strap adjustors are fully derived from castor oil. A BIOptic Polarized Light Yellow spare lens (Cat. 1) for enhanced contrast in poor light conditions is also included. And because this is still not enough, Spektrum puts a soft case made of recycled wool on top, which is produced in collaboration with Woolpower.
