Product details: Salomon S/Pro Alpha 120 Ski Boots Steel Grey / Pastel Neon Green / Black Men
Setting new standards in comfort and performance, the S/Pro Alpha 120 from Salomon is designed for skiers looking for outstanding performance that easily adapts to their foot shape. The shell and liner of this 98 mm boot are easily adjustable. A robust heel reinforcement avoids unnecessary pressure on the instep.
Thanks to the thinner plastic and strategic positioning of the second buckle on the lower shell, pressure is taken off the top of the foot, making it easier to get in and out.
Specs:
• 3D Instep shell and the 45° position of the second forefoot buckle: stronger heel fixation and a more even foot hold, regardless of instep height.
• Custom Fit 4D Perf liner with thermoformable Talyn, for an instant perfect fit.
• Shell: Custom Shell HD allows a perfect fit of the synthetic components to your individual foot shape, polyurethane for reliable progressivity and good power transmission
• Sole: Pre-mounted Grip Walk pads ISO23223
• Sensitive footbed
• Screwed Energyzer Velcro Strap 45 mm
• 4 aluminum 3D buckles, screwed
• Riveted hinge for alignment of the shank
• 6 mm rear spoiler in the box
Technology:
3 D Instep Shell
Improved fit and easier to put on and take off: With a wider gap between the forefoot buckles, the placement of the upper forefoot buckle at a 45° angle and the reinforcement of the foot hold over the ankle. The plastic over the instep is thinner and the hinge point is 10% wider.
Custom Shell HD
The Custom Shell HD process provides a complete fit of the shoe in 10 minutes from top to bottom.
Power Spine
The shoe features a screw on the outside of the "spine" that lets you turn a metal rod to switch between a "direct" and "progressive" position. The direct position aligns a metal piece vertically so that it connects the cuff to the shell, while the progressive position aligns it horizontally so that it does not connect the shell and cuff directly.
