S/Lab Shift² 10 Multinorm bindings are the latest development in touring bindings and set new standards for skiers who want to enjoy both the ascent and descent.
These unisex bindings for the 2024 season combine the proven technology of the original Shift bindings with new improvements that enable more efficient ski guidance and higher performance.
Thanks to Power Block technology, these DIN 10 bindings with a one-piece aluminium insert offer a 30% increase in lateral stiffness, which maximises support for the foot. The practical switch mechanism, full heel rotation and pin design in the toe area ensure comfort when touring and reliability on the descent.
The bindings are made from carbon-based PA, aluminium and steel, making them lightweight yet robust. The multi-norm certification (MNC) ensures compatibility with different ski boots. With the S/Lab Shift² 10 MN, Salomon offers an innovative solution for intermediate skiers who value high performance and safety.
These bindings are equipped with an easy-to-use climbing aid and a free-moving pedal that absorbs lateral movements and enables re-centring. The Power Block AFD provides additional safety and support by increasing lateral stiffness and optimising boot positioning.

TRANSMISSION
Power Block AFD: A new micrometric, height-adjustable AFD with a single-block aluminum insert that supports the boot and provides 30% more lateral stiffness compared to previous generations.
POWER
XL Wings: Long wings that envelop the tip of the boot perfectly in order to provide increased power transmission and confidence in freeride bindings.
Low profile Chassis: Low stand height for increased terrain feedback and enhanced power transmission.
SAFETY
Sliding Toe pedal: A specific pedal mounted on a spring that allows lateral movements and re-centering. It allows any normed boot to release out of the binding in case of a lateral fall.
+Elastic travel: The ultimate elastic travel on the wings. It holds the boot back when faced with bigger shocks and minimizes the risk of pre-release.
EASE OF USE
Easy climbing aids manipulation: Ensures easy switch with the poles between climbing aid positions.
Crampon system: Possibility to attach dedicated crampons to the binding.
