Salewa's waterproof and breathable Wildfire Edge GTX® combines true climbing performance with comfort on your treks. Once you've climbed, the approach shoe can be transformed into a climbing shoe in no time at all. 

The clever Salewa Switchfit system connects the lacing system, sole and heel. If you pull on the rear eyelet, the lacing tightens and your foot is pulled forward into the toe cap. Your foot is now tightly enclosed, just like a normal climbing shoe. By loosening the eyelet, the men's shoe regains its relaxed fit for hiking.

The high climbing precision of the Wildfire Edge GTX® is supported by the lacing system and an edging plate. This provides additional stiffness under the toes, while the rest of the insole remains flexible. To ensure that you don't lose grip on your hikes, the shoe is equipped with the Pomoca Speed MTN sole and aggressive cleats. 

The upper material consists of a combination of abrasion-resistant suede and robust microfiber. Thanks to the breathable and waterproof Gore-Tex® membrane, you are prepared for a sudden change in weather. The membrane protects you from moisture and ensures maximum wearing comfort. 

The Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) with its replaceable layers makes the Salewa Wildfire Edge GTX® customizable and, combined with its precision and flexibility, a great companion on your outdoor adventures.
