The Vento Powertex 2.5 L jacket is the perfect equipment for your hike and bike tours. You decide how you get around in the mountains. And so that even adverse weather conditions don't stop you, Salewa has designed the Vento Powertex 2.5-layer jacket.

The Vento Powertex Jacket is a weatherproof hardshell jacket with high waterproofness (water column: 10,000 millimeters) and fully welded seams. Above all, the 2.5-layer jacket scores points with its very high breathability of 40,000 g/m²/24h. This means the jacket is comfortable to wear all day long in the saddle, while hiking and climbing. And should the intensity increase, the special ventilation slots in the upper back area provide additional ventilation.

With the longer cut back, the high collar and the extended cuffs that keep out cold drafts, the Vento Powertex Jacket is specially designed for the requirements of bike tours. There is also an elastic, well-fitting and comfortable storm hood that fits easily under the helmet and provides a clear view at all times - which is particularly important for safety in demanding terrain. The special ventilation slots in the upper back area provide additional ventilation when the climb becomes more strenuous. Important small items such as gloves or energy bars can be safely stored in the zipped chest pocket and remain within easy reach. When temperatures – or intensity – rise, the Vento jacket can be easily stored in its own integrated compression pocket.

If it gets warm, the Vento can be easily stowed away in its own integrated compression bag. As a Salewa Committed product, the Vento Powertex 2.5-layer jacket is equipped with a water-repellent PFC-free DWR (durable water-repellent) impregnation and meets Salewa's additional environmental and sustainability standards in order to leave the lowest possible ecological footprint.
