Salewa has developed the Puez Hemp Durastretch 2-in-1, modern softshell trekking trousers for men. It is made from durable, breathable, natural Alpine Hemp upper material with a zip-off leg and an advanced design.

The Puez Hemp 2-in-1 regular fit Durastretch trousers are designed for versatile functionality and adaptability in pristine, natural environments and in the city. It is made from a durable Alpine Hemp/Sorona® material mix that ensures comfort even in warmer climates and during high activity.

Alpine Hemp is a natural functional material that offers exceptional tear resistance, a unique surface texture, high breathability and excellent moisture management. The hybrid fabric construction made from hemp and bio-based Sorona® polymer fibers ensures long-lasting softness and thermoregulating comfort on the skin. The Durastretch insert on the seat provides additional abrasion resistance and elastic freedom of movement.

Hemp is a unique natural functional fiber with a low environmental impact. When grown, the plant is naturally resistant to pests, requires relatively little water and grows quickly. The hemp fiber is combined here with Sorona®, a plant-based biopolymer fiber made from corn starch that gives the material lightness, softness and elasticity even without the use of elastane. These trousers are a Salewa Committed product, manufactured according to additional strict and independently verified environmental and social standards. Both hemp and Sorona® are completely biodegradable.

The wind-repellent material is well suited for stormy days. When the temperatures rise, the lower part of the leg can be zipped off and the trousers become shorts. Alternatively, you can roll up the hem and secure it with an adjustable drawstring. The comfortable waistband has a zippered fly with a snap button closure and standard belt loops. The trousers have two side pockets and two cargo pockets on the leg, one of which has a top zipped compartment that offers space for important items and valuables. The men's model also has an open back pocket.
