The technical Salewa Polarlite fleece, weighing 163 g, was developed in the Dolomites specifically for speed hiking. It features a mechanical 4-way stretch thanks to its high elastane content, and offers the optimal mix of moisture-wicking insulation and breathability. The reverse side lies directly on the skin, is hydrophilic due to the open air channels and quickly wicks away sweat so that it evaporates. So this jacket keeps you dry, but provides the same warmth as much thicker fleece jackets thanks to its lightweight, compressible construction. The mesh fabric also provides a distinctive, ribbed look.

The Pedroc's ergonomic sleeves and shoulders offer an ideal fit. The elastic cuffs provide additional protection during cold dawn starts or late finishes. The comfortable double elastic flatlock seams do not rub against the skin and provide an athletic fit as well as unrestricted freedom of movement. Small items can be stowed in the discreet zippered chest pocket.
