Salewa developed the Pedroc 2.5L Powertex Light Rain Jacket precisely for such requirements: The super-light, waterproof and technical women's shell jacket consists of a 2.5-layer construction with a water column of 10,000 millimeters. The water column describes the pressure that is needed before water can penetrate through the fabric.

In addition, the seams are fully welded so that rain doesn't stand a chance here either. Nevertheless, the jacket remains extremely breathable at 40,000 g/m²/24h: 40 liters of water vapor per square meter can evaporate within 24 hours. The jacket is always comfortable to wear on strenuous speed hiking activities. The athletically cut jacket has two side zip pockets for small items, the fitted hood and elastic cuffs also prevent wind and moisture from penetrating. The Pedroc 2.5L Powertex Light Jacket is part of the Salewa Committed Collection and thus meets their high social and ecological requirements in order to leave the smallest possible ecological footprint.
