Salewa has used their proven TirolWool® Responsive quality in the Ortles Hybrid vest to meet the demands of alpine activities. As a functional insulation layer, it has excellent temperature-regulating properties and thus protects against overcooling in rapidly changing temperatures inside and outside.

The TirolWool® Responsive insulation material developed by Salewa is made from the valuable wool of Tyrolean mountain sheep, and the insulation material is refined with innovative polyester fibers. The fibers contain thermo-reactive minerals that recycle and slowly release far-infrared (FIR) energy emitted by the body. This creates a long-lasting, sustainable heat. The TirolWool® Responsive material is water-repellent, breathable and can keep you warm even when wet.

Durastretch inserts are processed on the back and sides, which are particularly comfortable to wear thanks to the wool content (22 percent) and the elastane to ensure freedom of movement. Other features such as the pocket in which the vest can be completely stowed away, the ergonomically shaped collar and the full-length front zip with a windproof strip make the men's vest Ortles Hybrid Tirolwool® the ideal companion for alpine activities.
