Salewa has used its proven TirolWool® Responsive fabric in the Ortles Hybrid vest to meet the demands of alpine activities. As a functional insulation layer, it offers excellent temperature-regulating properties, protecting against cooling in rapidly changing temperatures both indoors and outdoors.

The TirolWool® Responsive insulation material, specially developed by Salewa, is made from the valuable wool of Tyrolean mountain sheep and refined with innovative polyester fibers. The fibers contain thermo-reactive minerals that recycle the far-infrared (FIR) energy emitted by the body and slowly release it. This creates long-lasting, sustainable warmth. The TirolWool® Responsive material is water-repellent, breathable, and can provide warmth even when wet.

Durastretch inserts are used on the back and sides, which, thanks to the wool content (22 %), are particularly comfortable to wear, while the elastane ensures freedom of movement. Additional features such as the pocket that completely stows the vest, the ergonomically shaped collar, and the full-length front zipper with a windproof backing make the Ortles Hybrid Tirolwool® women's vest from Salewa the ideal companion for alpine adventures.
