Hybrid design meets hybrid insulation - Tirol Wool Responsive is Salewa's self-developed, lightweight insulation fabric that combines innovative polyester fibers reinforced with thermoactive minerals with wool from Tyrolean mountain sheep. The heat given off by the body is absorbed and converted into infrared radiation, which is stored and reflected and thus keeps you warm for longer.

Tirol Wool Responsive is water-resistant, breathable and keeps you comfortably warm even when it's wet. It thus delivers optimal moisture transport, evens out temperatures and protects against freezing. The adapted, rear-adjustable, insulated hood provides additional protection. Strategically placed stretchable inserts provide more freedom of movement and since the Ortles Hybrid can be packed up to save space, it fits in any backpack and can be worn under any hardshell jacket.
