With the Fanes Sarner RDS down jacket from Salewa, tradition meets innovation. For the multifunctional body mapping design, a puffy white duck down (90/10) with a fill power of 750 cuin was used on the body and the sleeves were made according to Sarner construction with 100% recycled wool.

This hybrid down jacket is a sustainable product and can be worn with a clear conscience. For the RDS-certified down, Salewa checks at every stage of the supply chain that the ducks they come from are not subjected to force-feeding or live plucking. The Sarner links knit is a traditional South Tyrolean wool processing technique. The result is a dense wool fabric that is exceptionally warm and better able to withstand wind and rain. A mixture of recycled wool and synthetic yarns was used for the sleeves of this jacket - this resulted in a particularly soft Sarner knit with hydrophobic properties.

Lots of functional details such as the insulated hood with a high integrated storm collar, the ergonomic shoulders and the gusseted sleeve construction ensure unrestricted freedom of movement. The front zip features a full-length internal storm flap to keep icy drafts out. The jacket has two zippered pockets for warm hands and two spacious inner mesh pockets.

Fashionable, chic and a good dose of tradition have been combined in this beautiful jacket and the result is cozy warmth and protection from the cold.
