This lightweight Agner Hybrid Down Jacket by Salewa is a hybrid insulation layer for alpine climbing, where long, cold safety phases often follow high-intensity routes. The down (90/10 high loft with a fill power of 750) is only found on the upper body, back and shoulders, while light, abrasion-resistant stretch softshell is used in areas where climbers need more breathability and freedom of movement. But the real secret of the Agner Hybrid Down Jacket are the down chambers, which are not stitched using the usual method, but welded. Laser perforations between the partition walls ensure that air can flow freely and excess body heat is dissipated. The result is an outstanding warmth-to-weight ratio with excellent compressibility.
