The Rossignol Hero Athlete GS PRO is a competition-level GS race ski designed specifically for junior male and female racers in the U8 to U16 categories.

Size, construction, and flex have been adapted and modernized to better meet the demands of future champions. Flex and balance have been developed individually and by size to best adapt to growing junior athletes. 

Competition-proven Line Control Technology (LCT) meets our race-ready construction to ensure the highest levels of precision, balance, and power.

LCT eliminates counter-bending of the Hero for maximum track control, while junior-tailored sizing and custom flex help young athletes reach the next level of competition.

Features:

Cascade Tip
Metal and fibreglass laminates staggered through the tip of the ski form this unique shovel, reducing inertia and shovel weight for a livelier, freer ski. This construction allows maximum tip torsion control for stable turn initiation and incredibly precise turn control.

Titanal Beam
Enhances power transmission at the base for improved edge grip, rebound, and energy distribution throughout the ski's length.

Full Camber
Full Camber profile delivers the ultimate power, precision, and rebound for uncompromising FIS Race level performance.

Rectangular Sidewall
Rectangular Sidewall construction of multiple Fabrics with full-length sidewalls optimizes the ski's edge grip, balance and power transfer.

Oversized Sidecut
The Oversized waist combines the heavily waisted side cut of a carving ski with the current ski width. The wide ski ends provide efficient edge grip, power transmission and precision. The greater width under the binding increases control and grip in the turns. Oversize side cuts allow for greater manoeuvrability, power, and control.

Fiberglass
It provides more resiliency than carbon and exists in a variety of weights and weave structures, making it the best choice for custom flex and torsional strength.

Robusta Poplar Wood Core
The robust poplar wood core balances weight, flex, and stability for a versatile blend of performance. Used on junior GS skis.
