The Glacier from Petzl is a lightweight performance ice axe for glacier travel, with a meticulous design and finish.

With a weight of only 350 grams - at 60 cm length -, it is one of the lightweights among ice axes. The robust and light aluminium of the shaft is responsible for the low weight, among other things.

The head consists of a steel pick and a steel shovel. While the sturdy steel pick can easily penetrate hard snow and firn, the steel shovel is suitable for beating steps.

You can also attach a carabiner or a sling to the head and tip. Thanks to the comfortable contact surface, the Glacier Ice Axe from Petzl lies well in the hand.
