The Untracked pants from Patagonia are made from a three-layer GORE-TEX outer material made from 100 % recycled nylon. They offer protection from adverse weather conditions and have a soft inside for optimum moisture management. The material, membrane and DWR finish are free from perfluorinated chemicals. The trousers have a flat waistband with a zip and adjustable elasticated tabs for an optimum fit.

Side vents with waterproof zips help to release heat quickly. The Patagonia Untracked ski pants also have two zip thigh pockets and a stretch mesh pocket for electronic devices. The cut of the trousers allows great freedom of movement, and the gaiters ensure that no snow gets in. The trousers also offer protection against abrasion and are equipped with a concealed RECCO reflector to help rescuers determine the wearer's location.
