Ortovox has designed the Merino Shield Tec line, and with it the Pala Light vest, precisely for such long, alpine routes!

The extremely abrasion-resistant outer material of the softshell vest has been equipped with additional inserts in particularly exposed areas such as the shoulders and hips to offer maximum protection against rugged rock. The 4-way stretch fabric provides full freedom of movement, which is supported by an athletic cut. Thanks to its membrane-free construction, the Pala Light vest for men is particularly breathable, while fine merino wool on the inside and merino mesh inserts in the collar make it even more comfortable to wear.

The athletic cut and elasticated hems ensure an optimum fit and full freedom of movement when climbing. The chest pocket has space for a topo, cell phone, bolt, or other small items that need to be quickly to hand on a long day of climbing.

For the sake of the environment, the entire Ortovox Merino Shield Tec line is also completely PFC-free and climate-neutral with CO₂ compensation. With a fresh look, the Pala Light men's vest is ready for big climbing lines on high rock faces.
