Sweaty ascents, steep descents: Ortovox has developed the Col Becchei Vest for men especially for demanding ski tours in alpine terrain.

To make the athletically cut ski touring waistcoat particularly light, elastic and robust, Ortovox used Merino Naturetec Light as the main fabric: it ensures excellent breathability and elasticity and yet has a wind-repellent effect. On the inside at the back, Tasmanian merino wool offers great comfort and regulates the climate naturally.

Technical inserts in the front area, made from a special three-layer Warp Knit fabric with a windproof membrane, protect against the elements, but still remain breathable. At the same time, air pockets in the fabric provide optimal insulation. For the sake of the environment, the waistcoat is PFC-free and climate-neutral.

The details are designed for demanding tours in alpine terrain: the front pockets are optimised for backpacks and allow quick access at any time. Elasticated arm cuffs ensure optimal arm freedom of movement, while the elasticated hem keeps draughts and snow out.
