To make the athletically cut ski touring jacket particularly light, elastic and robust, Ortovox uses Merino Naturetec Light as the main fabric: it ensures excellent breathability and elasticity and yet has a wind-repellent effect. On the inside, Tasmanian merino wool offers great comfort and regulates the climate naturally. Technical inserts in the front area, made from a special three-layer Warp Knit fabric with a windproof membrane, protect against the elements, but still remain breathable. At the same time, air pockets in the fabric provide optimal insulation. For the sake of the environment, the jacket is PFC-free.

The details are designed for demanding tours in alpine terrain: the close-fitting hood protects the head from cooling and fits easily under the helmet. Ventilation zips under the arms keep you cool on strenuous ascents, while elasticated cuffs keep draughts and snow out. The pockets are backpack-optimised - for quick access.
