The Island MFS Active GTX hiking and trekking shoe from Meindl is a stable, high shoe made of sil nubuck leather for demanding trekking and tough hikes up into the high mountains. It is one of the classics from the Meindl model range and has been impressing the outdoor community for years.

Wearing comfort and fit are of central importance in trekking shoes. With the Iceland, various features are responsible for this. The Air Active Soft Print Drysole footbed provides even cushioning over the entire length of the sole, while the special insole also provides the all-important moisture management that is particularly important in extreme climates.

Thanks to the Memory Foam System (MFS), this shoe adapts perfectly to your foot. The DiGAfix technology with its flexible and pressure-free diagonal fixation in the instep area ensures optimal heel fit. The Vibram sole with deep tread ensures optimum and secure grip in the terrain.

As befits an ambitious trekking boot, the Island MFS Active is waterproof and breathable. It is also designed for the use of crampons (basket).
