The Active U is the same boot as the Madshus classic Active C, but additionally equipped with a universal ankle cuff for the necessary stability when skating - and more safety on descents in both techniques.

A modified heel construction helps keep the foot in place, which is especially helpful for novice skiers who have not yet built up their ankle strength. Combined with a flexible forefoot forefoot construction and a waterproof, breathable lace cover, the boot provides comfortable all-day cross-country skiing whether you're on skate or classic skis.
