The TX4 from the Approach Traverse X series by La Sportiva is a leather shoe specially designed for technical ascents and via ferrata. It is particularly suitable for mountain guides and other people who spend a lot of time in the mountains and need a hard-wearing shoe.

Every detail has been carefully studied to guarantee grip, comfort and protection during the approach phase and to support the technical approach to the foot of the wall.

The TX4 is a robust "built to last" footwear, which is particularly durable thanks to the STB Control System construction and guarantees lateral stability. Also thanks to the sturdy leather upper, high scratch resistance thanks to the PU TechLite all-around edge and MegaGrip Vibram sole with Climbing Zone at the toe and Impact Brake System at the rear, the shoe is perfect for climbing and descents on technical terrain. The lacing system is derived from the climbing model Mythos and allows the tension of the shoe and its volume through a single handle.
