The Kilo by La Sportiva is the ski boot for particularly demanding ski tourers. It was conceived and developed to guarantee maximum lightness on the ascent without compromising performance on the descent.

The shell is made of Grilamid Bio Based LF Carbon, an innovative formula developed specifically for this product. The new Force closure system of the shell allows a better distribution and adjustment of the foot wrapping and offers great comfort on the ascent and precision on the descent.

A boot equipped with an easy-to-use hook system to which the Force Power Buckle is attached to give you maximum grip when you want to go back down the mountain.

What's more, every detail has been designed to be functional, simple and minimalist so that the pointer on the scales stops at just 1000 g!

• Grilamid Bio Based LF Carbon Shell: an innovative, specially developed composite material that ensures high rigidity and low weight. Additional bars in the most heavily loaded areas guarantee strength, reliability and performance.
• Grilamid Bio Based LF Carbon Cuff: the same innovative material as the shell to provide the necessary support when descending.
An impressive 70° range of motion for an effortless and fast ascent. Two tilt angles to adapt to the descent.

Closure:
• FORCE closure system: innovative shell closure system that ensures high comfort on the ascent and maximum precision on the descent.
• TILT-LOCK LITE ski/walk system: The ski/walk mechanism is easy to operate even in bad weather and with gloves. Simple, fast, precise and extremely reliable.
• FORCE Power Buckle: additional support from this finely adjustable strap when skiing downhill
• WarmSole Platform: insulating polyurethane insole. It prevents direct contact between the foot and the inner shell, thus ensuring greater comfort and perfect thermal insulation

Sole & Binding:
• FriXion Wave Alpine: extra-light sole for maximum grip on snow and rock with additional protection in the centre area
• 200g liner: thermoformable liner specially developed to minimise weight while ensuring warmth and support. Soft, ergonomic, variable thicknesses and differentiated materials ensure high comfort and performance.
