Titanial laminate developed specifically for K2 touring skis that significantly increases dampening in lightweight carbon constructions while improving stability and edge grip.

Snowphobic Topsheet
Hydrophobic, snow-repellent topsheet that prevents snow from sticking to the ski.

Carbon Overdrive
A secret construction of carbon fibres that makes a ski even more beautiful. Achieved coolness values are difficult to quantify. Product from the '62 range.

Reinforced eyelets at the tip and tail of the ski where K2's pre-fabricated skins can be attached with a Z Clip, and can be used with K2/BCA shovels to create a rescue sled.

Since its introduction, the Kingpin has established itself as the performance standard for Alpine Touring bindings. TÜV-tested with DIN/ISO 13992:2007 certification, the toe pieces and heel parts are the result of years of development work.

Easy to handle, with TÜV-tested release functionality and, above all, thanks to the wide drilling pattern, XXL power transmitter and six-pack power jumps in the toe piece with excellent power transmission, they open up a wide range of possibilities on the descent.

The walking and entry comfort is simply impressive. Last but not least, the binding has a climbing aid from 0° to 13° and carbon binding.

Climbing aid
All good climbing aids have one thing in common: they can be operated by feel in any situation, even when you are not looking at them. Uncomplicatedness is a basic requirement, and reduced use of force is no disgrace. The Kingpin also convinces with the integrated ascent aid with a choice of 7° and 13°, which can be operated in a relaxed manner with the basket of the ski pole. And because the stirrup is attached to the upper third of the heel, it can be reached with any plate shape or the tip of the pole.

Kingpin heel
The heel construction, revolutionary for PinTech bindings, with widely spaced sole contact points provides loss-free and very direct power transmission, normally only known from alpine bindings. The KingPin heel also offers advantages in terms of safety that have not been seen before.

Kingpin toe
The Pintech construction of the KingPin toe enables ergonomic rolling of the foot and the most direct ski binding. Six steel springs ensure optimum energy absorption up to Z-value 13. Fixed stops guarantee comfortable entry in all conditions.
