Natural flax instead of carbon fibres! The K2 Dispatch skis are equipped with Uni-Directional Flax. Flax comes from a cultivated plant that is grown for fibre and binds CO2 as it grows. Flax fibres have a significantly lower carbon footprint than carbon fibres.

Designed by nature and endowed with enormous resilience, the raw material flax has been used for over 5,000 years for various products of daily life.
The flax fibres used in the ski give it a smoother ride, allowing it to track better over a variety of terrain.

Gradual rise in the tip for great versatility in all conditions, with a low, short rise in the tail for added control in variable snow.

Steadfast base
Glide Better, Longer. The Steadfast base requires 30% less energy to producte and retain wax 9 times longer than a high end sintered base. The improved wax adhesion also prevents skins from pulling was from the base.

HEX-Beam
Moves mass (titanal) away from the mounting points toward the tip and tail of the ski resulting in increased dampness and directional stability while maintaining power transfer in steep and deep terrain.

Paulownia is a lively, flexible wood with an excellent strength-to-weight ratio.
