The idea for the Dunfri Parka by Houdini originally came from a mountain guide who wanted a longer, insulated jacket for his backpack. Both for comfort and as safety gear if he had to spend the night outdoors. An insulated jacket that covers not only the torso but also the hips makes a huge difference in a survival situation. Most of us only spend a limited number of nights on mountain passes, but the lightweight, wonderfully warm performance of the Dunfri Parka will keep you happy no matter how you spend your winters.

The women's Dunfri Parka is made from Spinner Ripstop, a very light and durable material, and insulated with Primaloft® Gold, a state-of-the-art synthetic fill. Primaloft® Gold has a similar warmth-to-weight ratio to down, but is far superior in wet conditions. The jacket is easy to pack and transport and has a pleasantly soft feel. The Dunfri Parka features a PFAS-free water-repellent coating. Both the fabric and insulation are made from 100% recycled and recyclable polyester. Houdini also uses synthetic lining materials, not only for their superior performance, but also because they believe that no birds should suffer to stay warm.

The Houdini Dunfri Women's Parka accompanies you on your skiing or climbing tour, as well as on your camping trip or commute. You'll always stay nice and warm and can comfortably brave the cold. Thanks to its understated, minimalist look combined with its outstanding functionality, this jacket adapts easily to any situation; both its style and technical features impress with their versatility. It can be worn as a standalone garment or as insulation under or over a shell jacket. Please do not throw away this garment when it's worn out. The materials are fully circular and can be recycled for use in new products. Please return it to Houdini or a Houdini retailer with a Houdini recycling unit.
