Like the original, the Hoka Torrent 3 trail running shoe features the proven PROFLY midsole construction for soft landings and powerful toe-off. However, it has been reworked with a simpler upper construction. 

The breathable functional mesh is now single-layered rather than double-layered and has a TPU overlay for added support. There is also a rubber outsole that is grippier and more durable than the previous version.
