ATR stands for All Terrain Running, and the name says it all. Whether asphalt, gravel or trails, whether sun or rain - the Hoka Challenger ATR 7 GTX is your all-rounder for the daily running routine in the wet.

Hoka combines a simpler mesh upper construction with a soft new foam and increased the stance height for a softer feel. Adding to the mix is Gore-Tex Invisible-Fit product technology, which offers better protection in inclement weather.

For the sole, Hoka took inspiration from gravel tires: Smaller, denser lugs in the center of the sole are complemented by larger, more aggressive lugs around the edges. This provides better grip on uneven terrain.
