The Makra Light GTX from the Hanwag Makra family is the agile all-rounder solution with the perfect shaft height for via ferrata and light alpine tours. What it can do? A lot! It is suitable for all those who enjoy the advantages of a low cut uphill, but cannot or do not want to do without the stabilizing safety at the joints on the descent.

This is possible thanks to the use of a special 2-zone fixation and a mechanical clamp, with which the shaft can be easily and directly adjusted to the respective terrain and requirement. In contrast to a conventional clamping hook, the mechanical clamp blocks reliably and can no longer slip after fixation - without manual intervention. This adjustment allows, for example, a tight lacing at the ankle and a loose fixation of the upper part of the shaft for optimal ankle mobility during ascent and climbing.

When descending, the whole thing can then also be tightened above the ankle so that the joint is stable. In addition to a flexibly adjustable shaft, the Hanwag Makra Light GTX impresses with a particularly lightweight and well-cushioning midsole technology, which nevertheless provides the necessary stability for difficult terrain.
