Sporty design, light weight and sustainable fabrics: The Hanwag Coastridge Low ES is a true lightweight Approach Shoe and is suitable for easy terrain and paved trails as well as for short day hikes and everyday activities.

Its main material is a polyester-based textile, with only heel and toe protection made of leather. A sustainable detail is the completely PFC-free EcoShell membrane used in this model. Not only the membrane, but the entire shoe is PFC-free. For the perfect adhesion between the sole and the upper, as well as the highest quality, the Direct Injection technology ensures that soft sole material is directly injected and bonded to the upper.

As a result, the Hanwag "Hike Light" sole is very light and particularly comfortable for the foot. It consists of cushioning elements - soft heel and toe area made of PU - and stabilizing elements made of rubber in the midfoot area. The Hanwag Coastridge Low ES Approach Shoe deliberately has no heel - because the flatter the ground, the less heel a shoe should have in order to achieve the most harmonious rolling of the foot.
